Boat rental in Capri · From Capri Day Tour — Scar Next 150 Cv (2023)

First of all, the boat is NOT 23 ft as advertised and is not the boat that is in the picture. I rented this boat for 2 days to do a tour of Capri and of the Amalfi Coast. Communication was lacking and I have to repeatedly reach out to the owner to get any kind of instructions. And then on the morning of the sail day, the captain texted to let me know that the weather was bad and that he didn't feel safe to take us out. But the owner ignored the suggestion and told the captain to proceed with the tour. The boat that showed us was this tiny old (no bigger than 17 ft or 5 meters) and not the 23 ft or 7 meters boat that was advertised! We headed out towards Capri and it was the most traumatic boat ride I have ever had! The wind was so strong that for 1 hour, my family of 4 were being splashed with cold water! We were holding on to dear life! By the time we got to Capri, we were drenched! It was not this luxurious relaxing vacation that we had envisioned! The poor captain felt so sorry for us that he called the owner and told the owner to cancel the tour because it was too dangerous to continue. But to get back to our hotel, we will have to pay another 76 euros for the ferry and the only ferry back is 5 hours later! So, imagine my family drenched in salt water and had no direction as to what to do at this port! The owner agreed to reimburse us for the ferry ride and said that he was going to make it right for us on the 2nd day and put us on a bigger boat. Well, that was a lie. He wants us to pay another 220 euros for a boat that is supposed to be the one we originally paid for! After I questioned him, he became upset and rude. So, we decided to cancel and get a refund. Again, as expected, we still have not gotten a refund. So, let this be a warning! You are not going to get what you paid for so if you don't want to ruin your vacation, rent from someone else!

Very amazing experience, we chose this boat for my friends 20th birthday and she was in love. Ciro was our skipper, was very friendly and caring definitely recommend this boat!

We had an amazing day on the coast of Capri all the way to Positano. Rafa was a great skipper carefully navigating the chopping seas as the winds were up that day. In addition I left my bag with my passport on the boat ( i know ) and they drove all the way from Sorrento to return it to me. Such gentlemen! Grazie mille! This is the best way to see Capri!!

I have contacted the owner 12 times in regards to a refund. Be VERY careful about booking with this owner. His "partner" contacted me via Whats, APP, and stated that he would be cancelling our reservation. I though "ok, that's a bummer but no worries." Long story short he would NOT cancel the reservation on the app and so Click&Boat paid him my money for the reservation. He has stated over 12 times he will send me money through our messages and that he would send the refund, basically hoping that I would forget about it. I finally contacted Click&Boat and they are of ZERO help. They stated they can't give me the refund because they already disbursed the funds to his account. So UNLESS he gives them the money back then I won't get paid. This boat is a SCAM. He has a few other listings on here and goes by different names. Please be careful and protect yourself. This was all the way back in August and still have not received any money!

Amazing boat. Amazing skipper. Amazing arrangement. What else more can I say? Domenico was a great renter and Rafa was a great skipper. He took us to a beach where no body was there. It was like a virgin beach just for the both of us. I’d recommend this boat for a couple or 2 persons. Thank you Domenico and thank you Rafa

The only good thing was Rafa the skipper , nothing else . We booked this boat for a private experience me and my husband. To find out after 2 hours of waiting that we will share the boat with a couple. So the same boat had been double paid online via this website, and despite this the owner wanted more money from the both couples plus some dock extras that was never gonna happen , just jumping from one boat to the other. Anyway, a lot to say but the meaning is one. No serious company ( owner , since he is doing everything) . Stay away if you want a nice tour of Capri. Reply from owner: la persona che scrive aveva annullato il tour poche ore prima della partenza, le era stata offerta la possibilità di cambiare giorno o di ricevere un rimborso, non ha mai risposto. Ho impegnato il mio skipper in un altro tour e poco prima dell'orario di inizio Irina mi contatta per dire di essere riuscita a prendere l'aereo ed ad atterrare in tempo a Capri (capri non ha un aereoporto, era chuiaramente una scusa per non fare il tour poi le è ritornata la voglia ed ha detto questo). A quel punto ho inviato da lei la barca che aveva prenotato guidata da un'altro skipper che ha deciso di farsi accompagnare da una traduttrice, questa cosa la cliente l'ha sfruttata per inventare tutta la giornata che a bordo era presente un'altra "coppia". Quando le è stato chiesto se volesse scendere ed avere un rimborso ha detto "no", e si è divertita tutto il giorno durante il nostro tour, abbiamo foto e video che lo dimostrano. Ha pagato (come tutti) 250 euro per la barca online e restavano da pagare la quota per lo skipper ed il carburante COME CONCORDATO ED ACCETTATO DALLA CLIENTE, si è rifiutata!!! Lo scambio di barche di cui parla è un gommone-saltafila al porto di Capri, il quale offre un servizio a pagamento per non far aspettare le persone sulla banchina, la cliente l'ha richiesto e poi si è rifiutata di pagare. Quando abbiamo chiamato la polizia ha lanciato 50 euro allo skipper ed è scappata insieme al marito attraverso la pompa di benzina dove lo skipper si era fermato per mostrare loro la quantità di carburante utilizzato.

Thanks to Giuseppe for the wonderful boat tour on the Island of Capri and for his hospitality and professionalism. I went for a hen party, 8 girls, and we couldn't have made a better choice! We were able to observe the wonderful caves and have a wonderful aperitif surrounded by so much beauty... if we return, we already know who to contact again!

Hello, good afternoon, I feel really cheated and also mistreated, the boat's landlord, not the captain, is a thief and rude, the day before our arrival in Capri he tells us that he will not pick us up at Marina Grande If not in marina piccola, which is quite far from where the ferry leaves us, when I made the reservation I asked him where we were going to stay so that of course it wouldn't be a problem for us, okay, my problem for not having confirmed and having to spend €80 on a taxi to go to the collection point, but it turns out that as soon as we left the port the boatman stops the boat in the middle of the sea and tells us that we have to give him €100 for him and 150 € for fuel, and if we didn't have cash there was a 10% surcharge. Indeed, the owner warned us the day before about the rates but not that we could not pay by card, even so the amount of fuel is understood to be a deposit, what boat sailing at less than 4 knots and with the short distance it takes spends that atrocity, even though the owner pays €2.30 for fuel, and in the initial conversation he says that you can check the spent fuel, a lie and a shame not to have taken photos because of the uncomfortable situation we were experiencing, but the boat did not come full of fuel and when it left us at the port there was more than half the tank left, we also felt cheated because the boat does not have a 100hp engine but rather a 40hp one, of course the minor ones were the snacks, who says that they are typical Italian, two tiny bags and with some pieces of beaks with spices, in short and on top of that when I start to complain to the owner about our unconsumed fuel money I find that he starts to insult me like I didn't receive enough oxygen on the boat and insults in Italian that he is going to suck her. I have had nothing recommendable until I have to block him from WhatsApp because I am not going to allow anyone to insult me.

Amazing day Giuseppe gave us a great time Some info that I would have liked to have: gasoline is around 150 euros for the day 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Departure is from Marina piccola 10 a.m. 4 p.m. is very long for the Capri tour, half a day would have been sufficient
