Boat rental in Gambier · Fountaine Pajot — Athena 38 (1995)

Presentation of our project: We are a couple, Titouan, 31 years old, and Juliette, 32 years old, we left La Rochelle in 2017 on our old 10m sailboat. We reach French Polynesia in the Marquesas in 2020, after a 3-year journey interspersed with periods of work and discoveries. We sell our sailboat to come and settle in the Gambier and discover our little corner of paradise here. A year has passed, and we have had the privilege of creating links with Mangarevians, who introduce us to Mangarevian culture and the most beautiful corners of the archipelago. When we had the opportunity to acquire a 38-foot catamaran, we decided to embark on this tourist reception activity in order to share these beautiful experiences. The values that we wish to share are those of sustainable tourism, respectful of the environment and local populations. The maximum number of products consumed on board come from the Gambier archipelago or Polynesia, and meals will be prepared as far as possible by inhabitants of the archipelago. Everything is included (supply, meals, activities). We will be present on board throughout your stay and ready to accompany you in the activities offered (snorkelling, hiking, etc.). The boat is an Athéna 38 from 1995. It corresponds to our values, this means that it offers sufficient comfort but without excess. We are in a functional boat with 4 double cabins (3 at your disposal), 2 WCs and 2 showers. We have on board a large refrigerator powered by solar panels which give us electrical autonomy. No problem charging your small electrical devices via USB or lighter. We also have a converter which delivers 220V, but use sparingly as it consumes a lot of energy. On the water side we have at our disposal 500L of rainwater in our tanks, we will invite you to have a reasonable consumption of water on board. We provide sheets and towels and have snorkelling equipment on board at your disposal. (Mask and snorkels, fins depending on size) as well as two new stand up paddles and a canoe Tahitian (Va’a) 2 places to stroll in the lagoon.
