Volso port is the perfect start of sailing holidays, as the port offers many facilities, and there many things to do and enjoy till check-in. The port is right in the city centre and close to everything someone needs to equip his boat (supermarkets, pharmacies etc).
The itinerary from Volos is also interesting, as someone can visit Pelion beautiful coasts, North Evoia and Sporades islands depending on his wishes, tastes and time!

Great port to head off to Thassos. Easy port to navigate for beginners. It is also great as if the weather goes bad, and you happen to be doing a tour of Thassos you could leave the boat on the island and catch back the ferry. In general, the town is quiet and has parking spaces. It is quite easy to be reached from Kavala and the surrounding cities.
