Boat rental in Hourtin · Kelt — 6.20 (1977)
Description of Philippe's sailboat
Kelt - 6.20 | 4 People
I am "Miri", a charming sailboat that awaits you for rental, for beautiful and pleasant navigations, ALL YEAR ROUND, and good swimming (in the summer). I can welcome you as a couple, as a family or in a small group of friends. All this on the superb and large natural lake of Carcans / Hourtin. So I can welcome you with a maximum of 4 people for maximum safety, comfort and pleasure for all. I will introduce myself a little more, I am a "Kelt 620", a nice keelboat of 6m20, with a draft of 1m to approach the beaches on the edges of the lake. Well equipped with 5 sails (with snap hooks, no furler) and my 4hp engine. I am in Piqueyrot (near Hourtin, in Gironde) and I will wait for you at the pontoon. My usual hours vary according to the season: - from 09:00 to 18:00, in high season, in July and August, - from 10:00 to 18:00, in mid-season, in May, June, Sept. and Oct., - from 10:00 to 17:00, in "winter", from Nov. to April. But my hours can be adjusted, according to your obligations or wishes. Please note that my outings are only for the day, because I am a "day-boat", as some say! Indeed, I have no kitchen, no toilet/WC, ..., a bit bare!, sorry! I look forward to welcoming you on my deck and in my very safe cockpit, for the pleasure of taking you sailing. My "cap'tain" is at your disposal for any other information. I send you my warmest nautical greetings. "Miri" and her "captain" Philippe N.B.: IMPORTANT DETAILS FOLLOWING SETBACKS!!! I remind you that in France (for those who do not know) that navigation licenses (coastal, etc.), are only for motor boats, over 6 hp. Thus, in France, there is no "sailing license", which is why no license is required in the advertisement for the rental of the sailboat "MIRI"! However, it is obvious that it IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY TO HAVE TRAINING, OR TAKE COURSES, OR HAVE LONG EXPERIENCE TO MANEUVER A SAILBOAT and this is why a "NAUTICAL CV" is required for the rental of the sailboat "MIRI". And this is also why there is the possibility of renting in CO-NAVIGATION (see 2nd ad), for those who, without knowledge or training, wish to discover the pleasures of sailing and navigation. Thank you for your understanding and see you soon I hope.

Great welcome and availability from Philippe.
Excellent welcome, friendly and serious. We can't wait to come back.
A great day in a very friendly setting. Thanks to Philippe for his kindness and availability.
Very good communication with Philippe. The instructions are clear and precise. The boat is very easy to navigate. Thank you for the trust placed in me.
Philippe did everything he could to make the day a complete success. Thanks to him. I recommend his ad to everyone.
Perfectly equipped, prepared, cleaned, a small, efficient and safe unit for gliding on the lake. And Philippe is very nice. I recommend !
Very good boat, we had a lot of fun as a family. The shallow draft allows you to anchor close to the edge. The hardware is in good condition and functional, the sail set allows us to adapt to the conditions, we moved on to number 1 quickly. Very warm welcome from Philippe and his wife, some cakes and water, thank you again!!!
Very warm welcome from Philippe, precise and friendly handling, and perfect knowledge of the water so that we can make the most of the day. The boat is very pleasant, very seaworthy, lively at the first gusts of wind, it's bliss. Very nice day spent on board Miri, I recommend.
Boat very well equipped for the type of navigation proposed (safety, rigging, sails, engine). Safe and very well maintained boat. 100% functional. Philippe's welcome was extremely appreciable: available to discuss and prepare for navigation, available for very good handling, never short of advice. Many thanks, Philippe. See you soon on MIRI
