Everything is excellent!
Very bad experience with this rental company who didn't even bother to come to the dock. If there is no problem with your boat the experience will be good because the boats are recent. On the other hand, if there is a technical problem, this rental company will insist on the fact that being a captain must allow you to resolve the various technical problems of a boat by yourself, they even allow themselves to tell you that the level of study of the French is too weak to know how to repair a boat (amazing but true). However, having a license does not mean being a mechanic! We sailed 1 hour to Formentera. Arriving on site, it was impossible to drop the electric anchor, the actuator having no effect on it. We called the rental company who quickly directed us via WhatsApp video to a Electrical box telling us to raise the circuit breaker button (WINDLASS) which allowed us to hear a brief operating noise but it blew without allowing us to drop anchor. The rental company also pointed us towards a manual option with a plastic key that is less resistant than a child's toy, fortunately I didn't force it because it would have stayed in my hands! The rental company never told us about the miracle solution of activating a backup battery. We therefore made an hour's drive back by rough seas to the port of Ibiza to witness this solution in spite of ourselves. In short, departure from the port at 10:40 a.m., return at 2 p.m., no swimming, no lunch on the boat, no discovery of the coves and therefore two hours of sailing fuel there and back for nothing. The rental company was not even able to cover 50% of the rental costs, which would be normal given our wasted day and their technical incident. From the start, he has offered to transfer me €100 which after three weeks is still not in my account and 20% on a future rental on his boats. Do we really want to return to such a dishonest rental company! As for Click&Boat: the lessor decides they bow. You will therefore not have any assistance from the site the day you experience a malfunction. Since I have been in Corsica I have rented a boat in the bay of Santa Gulia and I am reassured to hear from the team of professionals that I do not have to pay the costs of such a malfunction. In short, I do not recommend SEA CHARTER IBIZA. 820€ rental 304€ of gasoline For nothing !!! ?
