ARC 2024 ATLANTIC CRUISING We have registered for the ARC 2024 Cruising. The itinerary is as follows: Departure from Las Palmas de Gran Canarias to Rodney Bay Saint Lucia, Caribbean Island. Here is the planned timetable: 15/11/24 - Arrival of the Costa Nord at the port of Las Palmas de Gran Canarias. 16 to 23/11 - Control and registration of the Costa Nord for the ARC 20/11 – Crew arrival & installation on board 24/11 - Official departure of the ARC 11 to 16/12 - arrival at Rodney Bay Saint Lucia 21/12 - Official prize-giving ceremony in Saint Lucia Your participation on our boat: You must arrive in Las Palmas at the latest on 20/11/24. You will be able to stay on board until the departure date on 24/11. You will have at your disposal a Nautalin that you can share with another passenger if you wish, with washbasin, and shared shower. You will be able to enjoy all the ship's indoor and outdoor facilities. Full board: breakfasts, lunches and dinners are at our expense. You will have to participate in the maneuvers, in the navigation and in the watches that the Captain will organize. If you come alone and want to choose a Nautalin for single use, you will pay the Nautalin price. If you wish to share a Nautalin with someone else, the price of the Nautalin will be paid by both of you. On the days before departure, you will be able to settle in and sleep on board, but you will have to pay for your own meals. Weather forecast As every year, the rally will finish in Saint Lucie. If for any circumstances due to bad weather, the captain may divert the route to avoid stormy weather. In this case, the arrival at the end point may be delayed. Please find below more information about the boat: Costa Nord is a large sailing yacht of 22m in length. Built in 2002 refit in 2020. It is a unique cruising/racing yacht, fast and comfortable to enjoy high performance without sacrificing comfort. Large sundecks, spacious cockpits with cushions and a large bathing platform, the yacht is also air-conditioned. The skipper, José, is a professional with many years of sailing experience. He has crossed the Atlantic several times. Inside we offer 3 double Nautalins, 2 single berths and in case of need the saloon can be transformed into 1 double bed. 3 full bathrooms. In the central part there is a large saloon with flat screen TV, several storage and shopping areas. The kitchen is spacious and has a sink, workspace, cupboards, refrigerator, oven, freezer and ice maker. We also offer a barbecue service, snorkel and fishing equipment, paddle and zodiac with 15hp.
