Welcome aboard our houseboat Aquila! Since its completion in 2024, it has offered an incomparable holiday experience on the water without the need for a license. On the Aquila you can enjoy the perfect combination of modern comfort and nature experience. Here you can recover from everyday stress, recharge your batteries and unwind. A special highlight: From the living room you have direct access to the lake - ideal for a dip in the cool water. The boat impresses with a stylish living-dining room with floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows that offer you breathtaking views of the surrounding lake landscape. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a refrigerator with freezer compartment, gas stove with oven, dishwasher and all the necessary cooking utensils. On the spacious sun roof terrace you can not only sunbathe, but also enjoy the view in comfortable lounge furniture. Sun protection is also available. The houseboat has two bedrooms with comfortable double beds, and the sofa in the living area can easily be converted into an additional sleeping accommodation for two people, so that a total of six people can be accommodated. A high-quality bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet completes the offer. After an eventful day, you can end the evening with a glass of wine on the roof terrace or by the cozy gas fireplace. The Aquila is also equipped with WiFi and two televisions. A grill is available for a sociable BBQ, and for sporting activities, stand-up paddleboards, canoes, electric inflatable boats or bicycles can be rented from the harbor master for a fee. Well-behaved dogs are also welcome for an additional cleaning fee. Please note: The clearance height is 3.92m, with the awning unfolded it is 5.42m. Remember to fold the awning in before driving under bridges or other obstacles. Due to the leisurely cruising speed of the Aquila, the focus of your trip is more on discovering the surrounding nature and less on covering long distances. This gives you the wonderful opportunity to fully enjoy the beauty of the landscape and the tranquility of the water. The boat can be handed over and returned from Monday to Saturday; the marina is closed on Sundays. A charter license is required and is acquired upon arrival through a 3-hour theory and practical course, unless you have a valid inland waterway license. For guests with little boating experience, we offer optional skipper training (45 min 50 euros). Please plan your arrival so that you are on site by 1 p.m. Minimum number of people on board: At least two adults are required for safe maneuverability and locking of the houseboats. For safety reasons, in wind speeds of 2 or more, the houseboats should remain in the marina, as their design makes them sensitive to wind. When the wind speed is 3.5, it is strictly forbidden to take the houseboats out. The fuel consumption will be billed at the end of your trip and amounts to €4 per litre.
