The "Saskia," measuring 11.00 m long x 3.10 m wide, is perfectly suited for 5 people. The houseboat features a single bed (sleeper cabin) amidships, a double bed amidships, a spacious double cabin in the bow, and a possible additional double bed in the saloon (table lowering). The numerous waters of the Brandenburg and Mecklenburg Lake District promise new adventures every day. Not only the beautiful scenery, but also the small towns along the waterways invite you to linger. To be able to drive our boats without a license, you need a charter license. You will receive this from us after a detailed briefing. Before you begin your trip, we will send you a multi-page information sheet to help you prepare for the most important questions of seamanship. Each of our boats has a trip planner and a trip atlas on board, providing you with all the necessary and interesting details of your trip. Our Penichette's other amenities include: Kitchen and household items: 2-zone gas stove including oven, refrigerator, dishes, cutlery, plates, cups, glasses, pots, frying pan Bathroom and sanitary facilities: Shower, toilet Radio & USB charging station Depth sounder with GPS Rudder position indicator Bicycle rack Swimming ladder Truma gas heater with air blower 1 x 11 kg gas bottle included per trip (cooking & heating) Safety is also provided, with lifebuoys, life jackets, and fire extinguishers on board. A SUP can be rented on site as an option. Bed linen is included. Please bring your own sheets, duvet covers, and towels. Communication was extremely quick and straightforward – even on Easter Sunday, Guido responded promptly, which impressed us greatly. The entire booking process was incredibly easy and stress-free. We received excellent instructions and training from him on site. Guido took plenty of time to explain everything to us and ensure we felt comfortable and safe on the boat. The boat's equipment was great, and the trip itself was problem-free thanks to the good instructions and easy handling – even for beginners. Contacting Guido beforehand was very straightforward and questions were answered quickly and comprehensively. Booking was also possible without a credit card. Everything went well on site too. We are completely satisfied, it was a really great trip. The offer completely met our expectations. Accessibility and communication was quick, unproblematic and reliable. We were given a friendly welcome and felt very comfortable on board. The three of us had plenty of space, the beds are comfortable, the equipment is very extensive. The boat worked reliably and perfectly and was easy to drive and operate (no problem driving without a license or knowledge). Locking was also no problem, easy to handle despite the 11m length. The landlord is very friendly and accommodating. We would be happy to be guests again at any time.

We spent a week on the boat with six people, and it was simply fantastic! Our captain gave us excellent instructions and a test drive for his charter license. No matter what problem we had, Guido was always available by phone and had advice for us! The prices are very reasonable, even compared to other boat owners! If we were to do a boat trip like this again, we would definitely use this boat rental company!

The Pénichette is a bit older, but it was in good condition and reliable. Guido is a friendly and hard-working landlord who looked after us very well. When we had a problem that was our own fault, he was quickly there to help us in the evening. Anyone who wants to book a boating holiday like this is in good hands with Smilla Boat Rental and Guido.

Ich fahre sei meinem 16. Lebensjahr Motorboot. Seid etwa 16 Jahren bin ich Eigentümer eines Hausbootes. Dieses wurde in den vergangenen Jahren grundlegend saniert und mit modernster Technik ausgestattet. Dabei legte ich immer großes Augenmerk auf die Funktionalität und den Komfort. Als Beispiele hierfür seien die Doppelverglasung des Salons oder die wandhängenden WC´s mit Spülung "wie zu Hause" genannt. Auch unsere große Teak gedeckte Badeplattform sucht ihres gleichen. Dank superleisem Generator und großzügig dimensionierter Batteriebank ist die Smilla geeignet, völlig autark für mehrere Tage auf dem Wasser zu verweilen, ohne den Service einer Marina zu benötigen. Vier-Flammen-Induktionsherd und 230 V auf allen Decks sorgen für angenehmen Luxus an Bord. Wir, meine Frau Peggy und ich Guido, betreiben unser kleines Familienunternehmen, die "Smilla-Bootsvermietung", nun schon das 4. Jahr im Nebenerwerb. Getrieben aus dem Spaß und der Freude am Umgang mit Mensch und Boot habe ich mich entschlossen, das Hobby zum Beruf zu machen. In den vergangenen 3 Jahren wurden weitere 3 Hausboote vom Typ Penichette angeschafft und mit viel Fleiß restauriert. Ab Saison 2024 sollen auch diese zur Charter angeboten werden..
