Scaramouche is a 14 meter sloop completely refitted in 2021, armed with a furling mainsail and tri-radial genoa on Facnor furler. The boat is equipped with all electronic instruments including AIS, WIFI, a Furuno radar, VHF in the dinette and cockpit, chart plotter in the dinette and cockpit with depth sounder for fishing. Equipped with solar panels, auxiliary petrol generator, inverter and battery charger for long stops at anchor. Cockpit with large table and cushions. Large sundeck with cushions at the bow, tender with HP3 engine. Fishing and snorkel gear. Below deck 4 double cabins and two bathrooms, sofa and TV, comfortable two-burner kitchen with oven, and large fridge. It is a solid boat but at the same time manages to develop good speeds even with a few knots of wind Currently the port of embarkation is San Foca or Otranto from where it is possible to make daily trips along the Salento coasts or crossings to the Greek islands.

Salve, io sono Dario, e ho 60 anni ,sono nato a Gallipoli e ho il mare nel sangue. Sin da ragazzino mi sono appassionato alla vela, prima sugli optimist, poi i laser e gli hobicat. Dopo un breve periodo sulle barche a motore - autocostruita per la traina d'altura , sono tornato alla vela , soprattutto nel refitting di barche d'epoca. Nel frattempo nel periodo estivo noleggiavo barche a vela per esplorare il mare Egeo, lo Ionio e parte dell'Adriatico. Il periodo covid mi ha dato la spinta giusta per acquistare una mia barca a vela e riprendere un sogno giovanile : diventare cittadino del mare. Ho preso un SO 45.2 in discrete condizioni e in un anno l'ho rimesso in mare con tutti gli ammodernamenti e confort possibili. Dal 2022 sono definitivamente il proprietario, armatore e skipper di Scaramouche. Per tutto il periodo autunno-invernale propongo insieme ai miei due figli - anche loro patentati offshore - corsi di vela, escursioni nel Salento e in Grecia.
