Stavanger is the best seaside Norwegian city! A great size, full of rich history and beautiful buildings and restaurants. It's also the perfect jumping off point into the fjords. Our sailing adventure started in Stavanger and then we headed towards the Lysboten fjords. First stop was in Forsand, a cute harbor port with a little supermarket. After a restful night on the boat, we headed to an even small place up the fjord called Florli. After docking we hiked up the famous 4444 stairs to the top of the fjords and after taking it all in, we walked back down for a nice hot meal at the restaurant. The next day was a sailing day back to Stavanger - high winds followed by some sunlight later in the day. A great adventure!
