Despite multiple requests sent on WhatsApp directly to Carlos about organizing the galley and overnight stay, we were given a completely ambiguous response and were told that we could bring with us what we needed and that we could, if we wanted, sleep in the port. The skipper's cell phone number was given to us a few minutes before arriving at the port. Once we arrived at the port, the skipper (a certain Ornella Patrona) told us that what we had brought with us (i.e. what was needed to prepare lunches and snacks assuming we would have dinner in the ports) was not enough, just as the water we had brought was not enough, according to him. We were told this at 10:30 (our check in was at 10:00). He also added that she had nothing and that we should have ensured that she had everything she needed for the 3 days of renting the boat. Lost and also quite annoyed (with two little girls aged 2 and 5 in tow) we head towards a supermarket where we buy more food and water and beer (ON HIS REQUEST as per whatsapp messages that we have kept). This request already throws us into a panic. We had already had other experiences and the skippers had never asked us for alcohol just as we had never had them drink while sailing. In any case, we start our trip with more than two hours of delay on the 56 rented and upon entering the boat further panic. The boat was dirty, the cabin doors were not locked and with every wave they banged and we therefore had to make sure they were closed. We are not given any explanation of the boat, the safety equipment and the possibility of obtaining life jackets for emergency cases. For the entire duration of the trip the central cabin was occupied by the external cushions that the skipper confesses to us he does not know "where to put". Another thing that leaves us perplexed. We finally understand that she doesn't know the boat and that she only knows that the external shower pump "leaks water". So we leave at 12:30 on 24/8 and sailing towards the north of the island, according to the route she tells us she has hypothesized, turns into the second great nightmare. The wind is strong (about 20 knots) and the waves are 1.5 meters high. The 2-year-old girl falls asleep with difficulty between doors that slam, water that comes in everywhere (she had left the windows of the bathroom cabin open without having done the necessary checks). I am the one who prepares to close everything while the skipper justifies herself by saying "the sea is not that bad come on". For about 3 hours we sail from Palma without explaining where and what we were hypothesizing to do and she confesses to us that she doesn't know Palma (she has only been here for 2 months and that she has come from 3 weeks of charter and that she is tired). During the navigation she falls at least 3 times tripping over the boat. We start to get scared. The waves are high and she is dazed. My husband and the eldest daughter feel terrible. Instead of reassuring my husband and me who are in the cabin in the meantime so the girls can fall asleep, she tells us that she intends to sleep for at least half an hour and that we need to see if our route crosses that of any other boat. We finally arrive at anchor and I discover that in addition to having to cook for her too, our skipper is sitting comfortably on the sofa watching a series on Netflix without even giving us directions on where the plates, glasses and pots are. Here too we discover that he has no idea where things are and that he doesn't know the boat and its rules. After dinner (I actually didn't even have a minute to eat since I had to help the girls go to bed and my husband was still feeling terrible about the sea) I discover that the boat has no water and that it seems to be "finished". She tells us that she had loaded it but that perhaps there was some leak. In fact, during the navigation an alarm had gone off and she had deliberately ignored it, saying she didn't know what it was. She then tells me that I can wash the dishes in the sea the next morning. In the morning we try to enjoy our first day on the boat (we actually stayed in the bay of Palma) but at 4 she makes us move, taking us to Cala Portal Vels where the wind seems to be against us again. We point this out to her (it's about 7 pm) but she says she has to sleep and that she has no intention of moving. We spend a terrible night, the swell is significant and in the morning you can't swim because it's too rough. So she moves a few meters (as if it were different!) and in the end we have to adapt. We take the girls out to sea with the SUP but the currents are too cold and strong. It's about 2:30 on the last day. I prepare a quick pasta dish and she tells us that we have to move because we have to go to a "quieter" place near the Marina to clean and fix the boat. In fact, the galley that she had made us do is too much and in the end she is left with it (we couldn't take all that stuff with us, leaving Palma after only 2 days): only the 8 cans of beer are finished and I have only drunk one! My husband none! In the meantime she blocks the anchor off the Marina di Palma and manages to pull it out only thanks to the help of the captain of another boat (which we were going to crash into). We fix the boat (ALONE) and she asks us if we have ever docked a boat. Obviously we tell her no! She tells us that we have to pass her the dead body if there is wind in the port!! While we are heading to the port (3 hours before the end of the rental) my little girl falls asleep in my arms and in fact I have to put her down in the cabin despite the heat. The maneuvers to dock the boat, despite the help of the port sailors, are very long and my husband is forced to help her even though he doesn't know what he is doing. Once the ship docked I asked her to radio me for the transfer available in the Marina because my baby is sleeping and I have to gather my things and it's hot in the cabin. The little one is sweating and I'm afraid to leave her there. She told me I had to wait for her to load the water first!! In desperation I left the boat and walked alone with the big girl to call the transfer and in the end when I returned to the dock she told us that we had to throw out the waste (which was mostly done by her). The girls had only eaten pasta in fact and my husband and I practically nothing! I refused and left. 878 paid at the time of booking 750 handed over to the skipper without even a receipt.
