The yacht Y-Not with her sophisticated exterior look and engineering is the work of Farr Yacht Design. Y-Not is a true high performance sailing yacht which combines excellent manoeuvrability, impressive speed, and 3 spacious guest Nautalins. Her low draft winged keel allows close anchoring in many shallow bays, while a fully-battened main and roller furled foresail is the perfect setup for catching the consistent breeze. Olivier Flahault coordinated exterior and interior spaces, creating a well-balanced practical design with the super yacht look and feel throughout the interior. Y Not will delight the experienced sailor and novice alike with her strong sailing performance from a Maxi 79, her comfort and luxuries. Captain Ajun was born in Germany and started his career in 5-star hotels before trading his life ashore for a life at sea. In summer 2016, he sailed Y-Not on a 3-month voyage from her previous home port in Spain to Myanmar. Ajun is our youngest captain, a great sailor and guests love him for his outgoing and warm personality. Mark is Y-Not's chef and first mate. After years of working as a sous chef in gourmet restaurants in Myanmar and Europe, he joined Y-Not's crew. Mark specialises in healthy fresh food with clean flavours and surprises everybody who is lucky enough to enjoy his cooking. Han Taung spend the last 5 years working on visiting sailing yachts as a guide before he joined Y-Not's team. He is one of the most experienced guides in the Mergui Archipelago and a real fun guy who is nearly always smiling.
