Boat rental in Pointe-a-Pitre · Bali - Catana — Bali 4.0 (2016)

Following my recent trip , I feel it’s important to share my thoughts, especially since Click&Boat Company has been persistently requesting my feedback. Here is my honest opinion. I understand that, much like hotels, catamarans are expected to meet certain standards. However, I am uncertain how Click&Boat defines or evaluates these standards. This uncertainty stems from the fact that it was my first experience renting a catamaran. Perhaps I lack expertise, but if catamarans are classified using a star rating or a similar system, I would rate the cleanliness and overall standard of this vessel as no more than two stars. Now, let me explain why. Nicholas, the skipper, and his wife Claire were exceptionally polite, kind, and welcoming. They created a warm, home-like atmosphere. Claire went out of her way to ensure a pleasant experience, even baking a cake and sharing meals with us, which was lovely. Unfortunately, the hospitality could not compensate for the state of the catamaran. The boat was dirty—not just cluttered but genuinely unclean. Mold was present almost everywhere, including on the silicone seals and the kitchen sink. The front area of the catamaran, with its seats and loungers, was black with mold, making it impossible to enjoy. It was so unappealing that even lying down in a swimsuit felt uncomfortable. The floors were filthy, and upon arrival, it was clear that the bathrooms had not been properly cleaned .I have done by myself.The only effort seemed to be pouring cleaning fluid into the toilets. Aside from having clean bed linens, there was no evidence of proper cleaning anywhere. Dirt was visible in every corner of the boat.Absolutely mess! Front of the boat reminds me about car repairing shop.Tools, ropes, equipment etc. For those interested, I am more than willing to provide photos that clearly show the dirty kitchen, grimy cabinets, and mold that is present almost everywhere. Mold can be seen on the silicone seals and even on the kitchen sink itself. The kitchen was the worst. Both the exterior surfaces and the inside of the cabinets were in a shocking state. As a woman familiar with maintaining a home, I can confidently say it had not been cleaned in over a year. While there were neatly stacked clean dishes, the surrounding grime was unbearable. Because the kitchen was so filthy, it created such a sense of disgust that I had no desire to prepare food there—it was simply revolting. In conclusion, while the crew’s kindness was commendable, the boat’s cleanliness fell far below acceptable standards. Cleaning requires more effort than financial investment, and I would have expected much more from a company like Click&Boat. I’m not referring to clutter, as that can be subjective, depending on personal preferences for organizing belongings. I am talking about an unacceptable level of filth and lack of hygiene.
