Tommy We welcome you to our Nautical Hotel! Our Bavaria 38 Tommy is one of our wonderful sailboats. Is our oldest boat (2004), and is recommended for the ones who looks for a more traditional experience. Even if it’s 20 years old, is perfectly maintained by us, and it won’t let you down. With 6 berths in 3 Nautalins and 1 heads, there is enough space for a great experience with family or friends. It’s part of our Standard Line, and as optional Tommy offers a fully equipped kitchen, folding gangway, swimming platform, and teak cockpit. If your looking for relax, or for adventures in our beautiful island, Tommy will be ready for any type of sailing, offering you a different and traditional way of sailing! As for us, our company with 43 sailing yachts and catamarans fleet, has been working in the sector for more than 25 years and is one of the most active in the field of process innovation and digitalization, and we are the first company certified ISO 9001 as Nautical Hotel, so we can offer both standard weekly bareboat charters and short-period charters with embarkation and disembarkation at any day of the week, all you need is just ask a personal quote to us or to your Nautal agent ;) So are you ready to set sails with us?

The charter is provided by https://www.yachtinginsardinia.com/, a company that is remotely directing their people on the pier. So, there is no base manager on spot and you have to deal with your mail-programm to get through the checkin process. In our case, this was very annoying, as 5 people from the company constantly checked their mobiles, but weren't allowed to communicate directly with us. The checkin was then delayed to the next day. Second annoying thing with this company is the so-called Seatutor, a tracking system that automatically charges you with a 200e fine, if you sail within one of the over 10 forbidden zones. In the end, I was busy more to care for forbidden zones than checking the navigational signs and charts. Especially, as not all of the maps were provided and none of them covered these forbidden zones. For me, it looked like the normal italian chaos management is now outsourced to an inflexible informatic system and then any deficiency coming from this is charged to the customer. Never again for me.
Magnificent stay aboard Tommy... Complete disconnection, radiant weather and grandiose Sardinian landscapes... Sailing aboard a sailboat was a first for us. A multitude of activities on board, visits, snorkeling, swimming, navigation assistance, sunbathing, etc. The understanding with our skipper went very well. It is an experience that we can repeat
the boat is in good condition but there are some maintenance shortcomings (poor battery charging from the engine and panel, fridge malfunction, anchor windlass with the chain that tends to jump, the steering wheel that plays and other small details such as plotter in the cabin with the screen ruined) at check in the staff is too busy and no one seems to know the characteristics of the individual boat, so despite being very kind and helpful they are unable to solve the problems
A welcome and a perfect accompaniment. It is not the most recent boat in the fleet but it is in good condition and is perfect for visiting the various anchorages in the area.
