We had a wonderful autumn holiday thanks to this houseboat experience. The houseboat is in good condition, (almost) everything worked without problems. The smell from the waste water tank mentioned by the previous speakers was not present at all on our tour. Everything worked great, and thanks to the well-functioning heating, which we switched on in the evenings, the nights on the boat were also wonderful. When renting, you should bear in mind that the boat can no longer be driven if the wind speed is above 20 km/h. This meant - especially in October - that we had to stay in the marina for a day. That is a personal "October risk" I would particularly like to highlight the harbor master Tim and his team from the Havelwelle marina and houseboat rental company. He gave us a detailed introduction to handling the boat... everything was friendly and uncomplicated. Tim was able to calm our initial frustration about the wind-related "forced break" with his friendly manner and nice suggestions for restaurants and places to go ashore. Overall a fantastic holiday in a great floating accommodation.
The night light at the front didn't work. At the end of the trip, the drain/wastewater smelled very unpleasant. The wastewater display didn't work. This technology needs to be repaired.
Everything went well, the weather was great, the first prerequisite for a successful trip. Instructions are quick and uncomplicated. Boat is easy to maneuver. Only the water pump could be replaced, it wakes up the dead. Otherwise, come back with houseboat rental Havelwelle at any time. greeting AT THE.
