Dufour Yatchs - Dufour 40 | 4 People

Classified as a "racing/cruising" sailboat, the Dufour 40 is an exceptional boat, particularly for its seaworthiness! Particularly comfortable, even in rough seas, it exudes an undeniable sense of security! Fast and efficient upwind, it is recognized as very pleasant to steer, and at anchor, it offers a comfortable living space all its own, for a 40-footer, thanks in particular to its large saloon, its bathroom, and its separate shower cabin! Of Breton origin, born in Lorient, I started sailing at the age of 15. I skippered my first boat at 16, a Muscadet, on which I discovered the Breton coast. Then, my first regattas aboard a half-toner for winter training in La Baule. My first offshore race at 18, "La Loire-Costa-Esméralda" on a 9.20m. Then, many trips to race as much as possible, anything went as long as I could sail, like this match-racing competition in the main dock of the port of St Nazaire, aboard a Class 8 with Nicolas LODAY (Olympic Champion) at the helm! In the 1990s, I was skipper for Voilerie DEME, with my RUSH, for 6 years. Thanks to her, I filled the cupboards with all kinds of trophies! Since then, I've given up racing to devote myself to cruising! Today, with my DUFOUR 40, I want to show you the most beautiful anchorages in Brittany and the Ponant Islands, during weekend or longer sailing trips! I think I can safely say that I've called at every port from Aber Wrach to Santender (Spain). Depending on your specific needs, I can arrange your boarding from the following ports: La Roche-Bernard, Piriac, La Turballe, and Le Croisic. The latter may be of interest if you're arriving by TGV, thanks to its terminal, as the train station is a 10-minute walk away (subject to the capacity of each of these ports). In this case, the transfer is free; you only have to pay the port fees (approximately €45-50 if we spend the night there), but we'll sort out all these details once you contact me! I'll show you the most beautiful anchorages in Brittany, such as: Houat's main beach, Church beach in Hoedic, The small bay of Beniguet north of Houat, Ster Vras at the foot of the Poulains lighthouse in Belle-Île, Or even the one at the foot of an old Vauban fortress, and why not the Penfret lighthouse located in the Glénan archipelago! And many more! If fishing inspires you, we can then cast a line and, in the evening, at anchor, cook it before enjoying the day's catch! It's not uncommon to catch a few mackerel, or even a nice sea bass, if the conditions are right! I have two passions: sailing and Brittany, and I want to share them with you! So, if you too would like to take a break at sea and combine sailing, discovery, and conviviality: Contact me! Stéphane. NB: To ensure everyone's safety and peace of mind, I do not accept children under 15 years of age.

The Coriolis is a true gem on the water, and Stéphane is a skipper as skilled as he is welcoming and available. His passion for racing, which he shares with enthusiasm, is accompanied by fine-tuning and highly informative techniques. He introduced us to a new approach to sailing that's both technical and philosophical, something we'd never explored before. And to top it all off, he introduced us to the Breton protractor, which is much easier to use than the Cras ruler.

After 3 years without any sailing practice on a cruise, I wanted to assess my level, my skills and my desire. Stephane proved to be a patient and educational skipper. He is an experienced sailor, full of empathy and experience. For my part, the duo worked well. Coriolis is a beautiful boat, powerful, solid in all circumstances and, moreover, particularly well maintained. In 4 days of intensive practice at his side, I rediscovered many of the sensations that sailing can bring me and I sincerely thank him for it. Francis.

Stéphane is an excellent host, always concerned about the comfort of his crew. Very experienced and very organized, the cruise was carried out in complete confidence and safety. His boat is very comfortable and very well maintained. The program had been established before and thanks to his advice we were able to prepare ourselves properly. As the weather changed, Stéphane proposed several alternatives and gave us the choice. We have had a variety of experiences. We learned a lot from his experience. A very convivial moment of sharing in a magnificent region (South Morbihan). Thanks Stephane. To renew.
