We spent a wonderful weekend in the Biesbosch on this beautiful, characteristic boat. Dennis and Martijn are excellent 'hosts'. Punctual, clear and complete in explanation.
We had a great stay on this lovely little boat. Dennis and Martijn were really helpful and friendly. The area is lovely with lots of nice places to visit. Would definitely recommend!
Dennis is a very pleasant landlord. He communicates well and clearly. I had damaged the boat, but thanks to his insurance the damage for me was fortunately limited to €500. Highly recommended to rent from Dennis.
Dennis was very kind and helpful. We had a problem with the engine and he arrived to help. The boat is in good shape. Quite small, but nothing that wasn't expected. Good value for money.
Very nice owner, great old boat with a lot of nostalgia and fun effect. Dennis is new to the industry and the little insecurities make him very likeable. He is very helpful, even self-sacrificing for his customers and his boat. I strongly assume that it will bring you petrol if you are lying at anchor somewhere in the middle of nowhere on the Maas.... I would even go so far as to say that for his efforts to ensure you have a pleasant stay, he would also go swimming if necessary. ? Great guy, great vacation. Always happy. Thank you very much
Everything went very smoothly, a beautiful and cute boat.
The boat was really nice, but could have been a bit more comfortable inside (maybe we are just too tall). We can recommend Dennis and his boat Grundel for a small trip (our trip was about 1 week) in a nice area. It is very easy to handle. We have been travelling in Naturpark Biesbosch, Dordrecht, Woudrichem, Heusden and all harbors habe been very nice. Especially Woudrichem with some Restaurants wirj view on the water :) Heusden is good for the night before, it is only a 1 hour drive back to Ammerzoden...
Lovely little ship despite the weather we had the best time. She turns heads everywhere we went and despite being a dinky vessel accommodated two very well. Kitchen and fridge were great. Engine and ship maintenance were excellent but maybe time for some new mooring lines. I would book her again. Thanks
We had a great weekend in Biesbosch. Thank you Dennis, very nice contact from booking to return.
We were kindly received by Dennis. Unfortunately the weather didn't really cooperate on the first day, but that didn't spoil the fun. After an explanation and a short test drive, we left for the Biesbosch. First stop was Heusden. Beautiful town with tasty restaurants. We received some good tips from the harbor master as new boaters, but we were also kindly received there. In the evening we all watch football together in the harbor bar. In the morning on the way to the Biesbosch. Fuel stop in Drimmelen and then find a spot in the middle of the Biesbosch. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed the peace and beauty around us. Waking up with the sun just rising above the horizon. An eagle circles over us and the grebes dart into the water. A cup of coffee and some quiet fishing. What a beauty. Don't be late sailing through the Biesbosch yourself at the lowest speed through the creeks. It soon fills up with people on day trips on small boats. Time for us to make our way back. Against the current of the Bergse Maas it goes slower. Pay attention to the stern waves of the other boats, because they fluctuate from time to time. We will spend the night again in Heusden. Have a nice shower. Get up early the next day to return the boat on time. Kindly received again. The transfer went smoothly and before we got home the bow was returned. Great weekend and definitely recommended. The Grundel is a nice boat. The cabin is small and low, but manageable for the two of us adults. It does not sail fast and the engine is also old but reliable. All the basic things you need are on board. Without a hood over the seat shell, it is wet in the rain and hot in the sun. Bring a hat ;)
We had a very nice and relaxing week on the boat
Everything OK. Good communication with Dennis
