Very nice contact and very friendly and quick communication. When the boat was handed over, however, it was not certain whether the charterer knew you by name. The inventory list did not contain the information that a reserve canister of fuel was already included. So we took a filled 20 L diesel with us for free. A missing chair for outside was solved with an old folding chair because there were three of us. Strangely enough, the battery went into the basement when we spent the night in a canal, so we had to rebuild the battery in order to be able to start the engine again. Thank God I had boating experience since 1894 so I could help myself. A concession for the trouble would have been welcome. We were referred to a marina to have it checked again, which we did not do in order not to lose another 3 hours. However, we left the refrigerator off at night to be on the safe side and only charged our cell phones while we were driving. The boat handover went smoothly and they had their routine checks and necessary work to successfully hand the boat over to the next charterer. The problem with the anchor winch should have been addressed better because as soon as the chain forms a pile, there is a risk of it jumping off the chain sprocket if the pile is not reduced beforehand. Otherwise, it was a nice short vacation.
Great organization. The harbor master Eichler and the charterer made it possible for us to have a very nice vacation. Thanks very much.
