Welcome to the Mediterranean Sea, in the Gulf of Lyon. ENSUI ("salt water" in Japanese) is a well-equipped and super-maintained sailboat: sails, engine, hull, cabins. It is based in Port-Camargue, the marina of Grau du Roi, a stone's throw from the ports of Saintes Maries de la Mer, Sète, Cap d'Agde, La Grande-Motte, which are very pleasant weekend destinations, and close to the beaches of Camargue (Espiguette, Beaduc) or Languedoc (Petit and Grand Travers, Aresquiers, Maguelonne, lido de Thau) which are very pleasant anchorages during the day. The Côte d'Azur, Corsica, the Balearic Islands and Catalonia require a fortnight (and a good weather window) to enjoy them. ENSUI is moored right next to a large free car park, accessible even in summer. The toilets are 50 meters away. A shopping center (supermarket, bakery, fishmonger, restaurants, bars, takeaways) is 200 meters away. Access to the pontoon is secure. The port fares in Port-Camargue are included in the rental price. ENSUI has 6 beds (2 cabins with double beds and 2 beds in the saloon). It can comfortably accommodate 1 couple with children or two couples without children. The equipment and utensils on board allow cooking for 6 people. The hull is regularly careened, and the sails are recent. The program of the Bavaria 30 Cruiser is of course cruising, not racing! Its average speed is between 4 and 6 knots. It is reasonable to limit the day of navigation to about twenty miles. Self-inflating life jackets (hydrostatic system), with tether, are on board. I recommend wearing them as soon as you leave the port. The boat is equipped with lifelines, and the safety equipment is regularly serviced. Both the mainsail and the genoa (from 2024) are on furlers, which makes ENSUI easy to handle by 1 or 2 people. The 14 kg anchor and the 30 meters of chains allow anchoring in 5 to 10 meters of water. Minimum nautical experience (level 2 or equivalent + port maneuvers) required. Je navigue à la voile depuis 1993. J'ai démarré par une série de stages aux Glénans, sur la base de Marseillan, où j'ai été bénévole pendant un été. Lorsque j'étais étudiant à Montpellier, je me débrouillais pour trouver un bateau pour pouvoir naviguer le week-end, en général lors des régates de la baie d'Aigues-Mortes, où il y a toujours un propriétaire de bateau qui cherche des équipiers. J'ai passé le permis hauturier en 1996, et le CRR quelques années après. Pendant l'année, je navigue dans un club affilié FFV (Le Grand Largue Lyon) qui possède 2 bateaux basés à Saint-Mandrier (83), et je loue parfois pendant les vacances, ou je fais de la co-navigation (). Je recherche plutôt des bateaux en eaux intérieures (Léman, lac d'Aix, lac d'Annecy) ou bien en Méditerranée (Hyères, Port-Camargue, la Grande-Motte, Port-Vendres, Banyuls) ou en Corse. Mes navigations passées préférées: - la lagune de Venise à la voile, - les Grenadines, - les Cyclades - Porquerolles / Port-Cros - la traversée Corse - Continent - les petits airs du lac Léman
