The boat is a Sun-Fast 37 from the Jeanneau shipyard, racing-cruising type. Self-sufficient vessel, designed both for long crossings and for regattas. Good compromise between performance and comfort on board. Its home port is Port-Médoc at Pointe de Grave in New Aquitaine. At the request of the trainees for reasons of practicality, it can be based in other ports on the Atlantic Coast, Royan, Arcachon, Hendaye, La Rochelle for example... Departing from Port Médoc, you will have the opportunity to train in the natural marine park of the Gironde estuary and the Pertuis sea while discovering historical sites such as the Troglodytic Caves of Meschers or, if you wish, do a regatta around the Cordouan lighthouse, the “King of lighthouses”, flirting with the open sea… Head north by coastal navigation going up to the Pertuis Charentais with a stopover at Saint-Denis d'Oléron or even extend our navigation to reach southern Brittany - Belle-Île, Groix, the Iles des Glénans, Concarneau... - or take the open sea towards the south to discover the Basque coast, Asturias… and the wildlife of the Bay of Biscay which very often accompanies us.
