Small and manageable boat
I chose Mar Menor because of the flat calm sailing, but we had some good strong breezes that his tired little Damio 23 easily handled with shortened sails. As they say, the smaller the boat the more fun. While Verazón is getting old needs a bit of love, everything worked ok and she was a delight to sail. I was met by Ramón, Carmen's husband who gladly spoke to us in passable English from the start. Ramón is a gentleman and made us feel welcome and was punctual and attentive to our needs. He fully briefed us on the boat and the safe sailing areas of Mar Menor. We had a great time exploring Las Alcázerez and the lagoon. A tip for anyone staying on the water is to bring your insect repellent as the were a lot of mosquitos at night.
The boat was great, well maintained and equipped. We had a great day. The treatment with the owner was very correct and pleasant.
Great to spend a family day sailing
