Hanse 455 is a large boat in every way. It will provide you great comfort and exceptional sailing experience among hundreds of Croatian islands at your palm from Split. With 13.95 meters, Alex offers accommodation for up to 10 people, in 4 spacious Nautalins, and two additional berths in convertible salon lounge. During the day, spacious salon offers full confort for an enjoyable experience on the sea. You can cook your own food in the kitchen which is fully equipped with fridge, stove/oven, sink, and all the cutlery. Lastly, this sailboat comes with 2 bathrooms which are rather spacious for this sort of models. Enjoy your sailing experience to the fullest, on the big teak cockpit, with an open lounge, convertible dining table, and swimming platform. Of course, your sailing will be smooth and safe with full navigation equipment and full safety equipment as well. Depending on your interests and skills, you can charter this catamaran with or without skipper. From our base in Split, you can visit some of the most beautiful destinations in Croatia such as islands of Šolta, Brač, Hvar and Vis... The boat is very poorly maintained and worn out Here is a list of the worn out and malfunctioning things I found on the boat: 1) bow thruster that did not retract completely because it was full of seaweed and shells (poor maintenance is evident) with the consequence of a reduced lateral thrust. 2) automatic pilot that once inserted cannot be put back on stand by unless the electrical panel is turned off (an event that happened just after leaving the port of departure) thus creating a dangerous and uncomfortable situation. 3) stern platform with a missing port block and the other that did not block completely once closed for navigation (really unsafe) 4) bathroom tap not working well, a trickle of water came out therefore difficult to use. 5) sink drain that struggles to drain water 6) glass in the cracks of the stern pot (poor cleaning of the boat (also dangerous for the safety of the crew). 7) sunshades of the bow hatches completely broken. In the face of purely aesthetic damage to the vang we were asked for a sum for the entire replacement. Charter company absolutely not recommended.
Top destination, great conditions. The team is friendly, available in the marina and on the phone The boat is from 2018 and we can see a lot of signs of aging or lack of maintenance: sails that have suffered, 2 openings of the coachroof windows broken, nuts that are missing (outside table, bathing ladder, ...), tender with 1 punctured sausage and to be re-inflated every day On the other hand, 1 point that we did not appreciate: the outboard motor no longer worked on day 2, option at 90 €. as i didn't report it immediately the manager didn't want to refund me.
