With our wonderful family sloop you can explore the Zaanstreek/Alkmaardermeer/De Rijp area via the many waterways. Boarding at the ZZV port of West-Knollendam or at a location in the region to be agreed upon. Our stable sloop has 6 seats, an electrically started 9.9 hp bbm in the bun, which provides a large floor space. The boat is controlled with a tiller. The rental includes skipper Henk, a born and bred Zaankanter with a lot of knowledge about the area, both about nature and the rich history. There are plenty of examples for outings in the water-rich region. * From the Zaan towards Zaandam, enjoy the historic factory buildings in Wormer, sailing past the windmills of the Zaanse Schans and the many typical Zaan buildings along the Zaan. * From the Zaan, enter the Wormer and Jisperveld via the Poelsluis and then end up on the North Holland Canal via the Jispersluis. * Cruise around the Eilandspolder near the historic town of De Rijp. * Via the Alkmaardermeer to the historic city center of Alkmaar. * Sailing via the Nauernasche canal to the North Sea Canal and back via the Zaandam lock over the Zaan along the Zaanse Schans. Wonderful day on the water, bring snacks or enjoy a nice drink at a cozy terrace, ice cream parlor or otherwise. A lot is possible and negotiable.
