In case you are looking for a real fairytale vacation, a traditional gulet charter is what you need! With a gulet charter, you will be able to organize memorable tours around the Mediterranean, as well as create a longer itinerary in which you can make several stops in wonderful destinations. In addition, gulets are the perfect choice in terms of safety and comfort, as they are fully equipped so that you will not be short of anything during your boating trip, whether it is a week or longer.
Keep in mind that traditional gulets are generally rented by the week, thus allowing you to make the most of all the comforts and advantages they offer while enjoying sailing to the fullest. Similarly, in Nautal you can find gulets that you can rent for a couple of days; check the technical data sheet of the boat or contact the owner directly through our platform.
Gulets can be rented directly via the Nautal platform. You’ll notice that the price of renting a gulet varies significantly depending on the destination for example, in Turkey, one of the top destinations for renting gulets, prices are lower than in Spain, where the fleet of gulets is smaller.
The size and age of the gulet, being mostly traditional boats, will affect the price.
In some of the main ports of Spain, such as Ibiza, you can rent a gulet for approximately $940 per day and $7,200 per week.
In destinations such as Turkey or Croatia, you can find gulets from approximately $960 for a full week charter.
Due to the extensive equipment that most gulets have designed for rentals of a week or more with maximum comfort, you have to take into account that the costs of fuel, drinking water, or electricity, among others, are not always included in the final price of the rental. For this reason, we always recommend contacting the owner directly, so that they can clarify all these details firsthand.
At the same time, when renting a gulet you will have to pay a deposit, which will be returned to you when you return the boat in the same conditions in which it was rented. The amount of this deposit can be found in the technical data sheet of the boat.
Other extras such as material for water sports and toys for activities may or may not be included in the final price, as well as the final cleaning or supplies such as bed linen and towels.
In Spain, you can find gulets in the main Mediterranean ports, such as Tarragona, Girona, and Barcelona, or in the Balearic Archipelago like in Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza, or Formentera.
On the other hand, some of the most popular destinations for gulet sailing are Turkey, Greece, and Croatia. In these destinations, besides having a great variety of gulets of different sizes, characteristics and prices, you will be able to enjoy gulet sailing in all its splendor, moving from island to island, or beach to beach, in an independent and comfortable way, having in the same boat everything you may need for an unforgettable vacation.
You can rent a gulet with friends and/or family. Themed parties are a popular choice amongst friends, while families tend to enjoy renting gulets in order to comfortably visit many different locations with their children without having to worry about too much. Before renting your gulet for your next adventure, make sure to take into account how many people will be on the boat including crew, how long your trip will be, what activities you would like to take part in, etc.
To book a gulet charter, go to our website and filter the search results according to your criteria. For example, whether or not you want to be accompanied by a skipper, your budget, the number of passengers, and the number of beds. You will then have the ability to sort your results to make your search easier.
If you have special requests, feel free to contact the boat owner via the free private messaging service on the Nautal website.
The majority of the gulets in our fleet date back to the 90s and have been refitted.
The price of a gulet charter varies greatly depending on the destination. For example, our fleet of gulets in Spain is smaller than the one in Turkey, and prices will therefore be more elevated. The size and year of construction of the boat also have a direct effect on the price.
In destinations such as Turkey or Croatia, you can find gulets starting at around $6,350 for a whole week's charter. In some major Italian ports, such as Sardinia, you can charter a gulet for around $10,000 per week.
Rental prices for gulet charters vary depending on many different factors such as whether or not a skipper is included, how many cabins are aboard, how many people the boat can accommodate, etc. Our fleet ranges between $559 and $8,459 per day.
Due to the complex and extensive equipment most gulets have, you should keep in mind that the costs of fuel, drinking water, and/or electricity, may not always be included in the final rental price. For this reason, we always recommend contacting the owner directly, so that they may clarify every detail.
Additionally, you will be asked to pay a deposit fee, which will be returned to you upon the return of the boat and under the terms that the boat is returned in the same conditions. The amount of this deposit can be found in the boat's datasheet.
Other extras such as materials for various activities and water sports may or may not be included in the final price, as well as post-rental cleaning or supplies such as sheets and towels.
If you want to charter a gulet without a skipper, in most countries you need a boat license.
If, on the other hand, you want to enjoy an all-around experience at sea and not have to think about anything, you can hire a skipper or an entire crew, modifying the basic charter price slightly.
There are many locations where you can rent a gulet for a day or more; on average, gulet rentals are for a week. The majority of our gulet fleet is located in Greece (e.g.Athens), Croatia (e.g. Split, Šibenik), and Turkey (e.g. Bodrum); these countries are quintessential locations for gulet sailing.
