I'm Egemen, a 38-year-old company owner and captain in Demre, Antalya. Sailing and swimming are my favourite hobbies, and I'm fortunate to combine my passion with my profession. I came from a family with a sailing background and took over my family's tourism company. I adore sailboats and the sense of freedom and adventure they provide. I've been sailing for several years, gaining experience as both a renter and owner of sailboats. I've served as both a crew member and a skipper, which has given me valuable insights into teamwork and leadership on the water. In the future, I aspire to participate in regattas, embark on long-distance crossings, and explore different sailing destinations. As a boat owner, I prioritize regular maintenance and safety precautions. While I have a healthy respect for unfavourable weather conditions, I believe in thorough preparation and adhering to safety protocols to mitigate risks. Sailing has become integral to my life, allowing me to connect with nature, explore new horizons, and continually learn and grow. I look forward to many more exciting adventures on the open waters.
