I recently had the pleasure of renting this boat from Renato with Vincent as our captain while exploring the stunning waters around Cannes. From the start, Vincent was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our group feel right at home on the boat. His knowledge of the area was top-notch—he took us to some of the most beautiful, hidden spots that we would have never found on our own. Whether it was secluded coves or perfect swimming locations, Vincent knew exactly where to go. The entire experience was seamless and enjoyable thanks to his professionalism and easygoing nature. Highly recommend Vincent if you’re looking for a fantastic day on the water in Cannes!

Luc was an amazing host! He was very welcoming & we had a wonderful day- we did a half day on the boat, he had 2 paddle boards & snorkeling equipment for us to use, and even provided complimentary wine & an amazing charcuterie board which we did not expect! He was very accommodating & took us to 3 stops including some beautiful islands to swim. Would definitely recommend him if you are looking for a wonderful cannes boat trip!

We had a really super day. The skipper was excellent. A local person who knew the area. Great swim spots. We asked them to book us a table for lunch and they did not disappoint. Would definitely book again.

We enjoyed our day tremendously! The crew was amazing and very communicative. When we had questions prior to departure the skipper was lightning-fast in his response time.
We will 100% be back next year and will make sure it’s with this amazing crew!!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience on the Absolute Navetta 58. My wife and I spent an unforgettable day on the water, and everything was perfect from start to finish. The yacht itself was stunning—luxurious, spacious, and impeccably maintained. But what really made the trip special was the captain. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive to every detail, ensuring we had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable day. We couldn’t have asked for a better charter experience. Highly recommended!

Recently, we had the pleasure of organizing a charter on our boat for incredibly pleasant and cheerful guests who were celebrating a family occasion. The newlyweds, who had just recently tied the knot, chose our vessel for their celebration, and we were thrilled to be part of their special day.
We set off to sea, where we had an unforgettable photo shoot against the backdrop of picturesque islands. The beautiful scenery and the joyful faces of our guests made these moments truly magical. After the photo session, we continued our journey across the sea, enjoying each other's company and the surrounding nature.
It was a lot of fun, and the time flew by. We are happy that we could create an atmosphere for our guests that will remind them of this day for a long time. It was a pleasure to spend time with these wonderful newlyweds, and we sincerely hope they will choose us again for their future celebrations and adventures!

Cannes itself is a fantastic sailing base as its harbor Vieux Port (Port of Cannes) is fully-equipped with anything you might need within walking distance.
Cannes gets put under the international spotlight during the annual Cannes Film Festival in May where celebrities often spend their time on yachts in the harbor, so if you don’t mind the hustle and bustle, rent a sailing boat in May and make an A-lister your neighbor!
Climate and Sailing Conditions in Cannes
Sailing in Cannes is a year-round activity, though we suggest beginner sailors stay clear of winter and spring when the mistral winds are much stronger in the region. The waters are much calmer during the summer and autumn seasons with minimal tides, making September our favourite month for sailing. The temperatures are still so warm it feels as though autumn will never arrive, yet the crowds have died down from the summer holidays, leaving you in more tranquil surroundings with endless hours of sunshine.
Sailing Destinations around Cannes
The Iles de Lérins (also referred to as the Cannes Islands) are a short sail from Vieux Port, an idyllic day trip or an island mini break. Île Sainte-Marguerite is famous for holding the Man in the Iron Mask prisoner, you can even visit his cell! This island is car-free and essentially an enchanted forest island surrounded by clear water coves where you can soak up the sun onboard your sailing boat or sunbathe on your favourite shore.
Île Saint-Honorat is a smaller and contrasting neighbouring island where you are advised to dress modestly due to the colony of monks that have been living on this island for more than 1500 years. Smoking is also forbidden here.
If you wish to branch out even further, visit the notorious Saint-Tropez or Saint-Raphaël and Frejus where there are a variety of sandy beaches, large marinas and popular snorkelling zones.
