The climate in Puerto Rico is tropical, warm and humid. And the average annual temperature, above and below the water is 26ºC. A pleasure! The Atlantic zone of the island is more rainy than the Caribbean region. The months with the highest rainfall are those between May and October, with August being the one with the most rainfall. The hurricane season is recorded between August and November. On the other hand, the driest months are January and April, highly recommended for holiday on your sailboat hire in Puerto Rico.

You can get to Puerto Rico by air or by sea. The Luis Muñoz Marín Airports (SJU) in San Juan and the Aguadilla City Airport (BQN) receive flights from Spain, the United States, the rest of the Caribbean and South America. Data: the SJU, in particular, has direct flights to and from Madrid, and they are usually cheaper than those of the BQN.
