It was ok overall. Communication with owner was good and quick. The boat is just as pictured the inside was not as clean as expected. The skipper ok. Not as involved and welcoming with us. The trip to the cala was nice, but we could have taken more advantage for a 7 hour trip. The boat was a bit slow we could have done a bit more. Thanks!
Communication with Juan Antonio was quick and professional. We had a great time on board!
very good, Highly recommended!
It was awesome Anna the skipper is very cool and very professional ! And the boat is better than it seems on the pics Thank you very much
Really nice experience ! Thank you so much ;)
We had a really great day on Juan’s boat with our skipper Manuel. Despite not the best weather, we had a fantastic time. The boat is great, with paddle boards and snorkelling sets for swimming. It was great to be able to bring food and drinks on board.
Very nice boat, good tour in Mallorca’s cabo Formentor, cheap price. Boat is clean, skipper has good communication skills. I would recommend it.
so everything was fine. sadly we only got as far as alcanada from alcudia then the weather turned worse so we didn't travel more than 5 miles the whole day and didn't sail at all. there was talk of just paying for a half day and cancelling due to the weather but this offer was not followed through. overall, not bad.
Fantástico. Very nice boat. The Captain made our trip very relaxing)
The overall experience was great and we loved it! the boat was nice and compliant to the description on the website. However, we felt that a couple of things could improve with the skipper and with a clear understanding of his/her duties and responsibility. First thing to be said is that most of us are not expert sailors and for many it was the first time on a sailboat ever therefore some notions that might seem obvious for many for us were not. that being said we would appreciate that the skipper’s job would have involved: - recommendations on interesting routes, new places to visit while in water or on shore. - comfort, cleanliness and tidiness inside of the boat (I am not sure cleaning is a duty of the skipper but we were expecting so). - the communication with us as "crew" explaining what to do and what not to do. Despite this at the end we manage to improve the communication with the skipper to make friends and to have a pleasant time. Our experience was great, the places were amazing and the boat was perfectly equipped for the trip.
good days This has been our experience during the week with the Bavaria 50 PIQUOT from September 2 to 9, 2023. We started with two days of bad weather in which we could not sail. Nothing to object because it is a prudent decision. On day 4 we were able to go sailing, have a very fun sailing trip thanks to Anna's attitude and will. THE GUINCHE OF THE MAIN SAIL WAS NOT WORKING, with the consequent difficulty and danger, SOMETHING TO TAKE CAREFULLY INTO ACCOUNT, THE HULL OF THE BOAT WAS COMPLETELY COVERED WITH MOLLUSCS, which made proper navigation difficult. From day 5 onwards when the sun came out we were aware of the problem of NOT HAVING THE AFT BIMINI. Anna, with her good will, worked hard to place two tarps with the ropes to alleviate the problem. Since we did not have a bimini, WE DID NOT HAVE SOLAR PANELS WITH WHICH THE COOLERS COULD NOT WORK CORRECTLY. THE ICE LASTED FOR HOURS. VERY LITTLE, LESS THAN 20 HOURS BECAUSE THE ENVIRONMENTAL TEMPERATURE WAS HIGH. I think the BIMINI thing is something intolerable when you rent a sailboat for a week's stay. A boat without a minimum amount of shade in summer, at temperatures of 28-30 degrees. On the other hand, THE BATHROOMS ALSO DO NOT WORK CORRECTLY. THE TOILET DOES NOT DRAIN WELL AND THE SMELL IS SOMETIMES UNBEARABLE INSIDE THE SAILBOAT, with that smell coming out into the boat's cockpit, which meant that you had to go to the front of the boat if you did not want to breathe in the smell of sewer. ALSO THE SHOWER IN THE OTHER BATHROOM DIDN'T WORK... A DISASTER. There are several drawers that opened every time the ship listed because the closures were not correct, specifically the cutlery drawer, and the drawer with all the ship's tools. They fell to the ground with everything they had inside. INCONCEIVABLE IN A BOAT OF THESE CHARACTERISTICS. In summary, THE BOAT HAS MANY DEFICIENCIES THAT THE CUSTOMER SHOULD BE AWARE OF BEFORE RENTING IT BECAUSE THEY MAKE SAILING NAVIGATION DIFFICULT AND ALTER THE COMFORD. In a week it becomes a major problem. We are two people who had rented a sailboat to be able to SAIL as much as possible. In the PIQUOT it is completely impossible. Juan Antonio, the shipowner, was already aware of ALL of these defects. Even so, he puts the sailboat on charter. Something that seems to me, in addition to lack of shame and honesty, a joke and of course REPORTABLE. WE ARE TALKING ABOUT A LUXURY ITEM FOR WHICH YOU DO NOT PAY LITTLE. The GOOD side is the Patrona who with her attitude and disposition minimizes the situation. She constantly apologized and tried to show you beautiful areas of the island. With a single sail he tried with an extraordinary effort to make it as good as possible. TO WHOM THE OPINIONS MAY APPLY. THE BOAT VERY BAD, THE SKIPPER VERY GOOD.
Nice Boat , Nice skipper .. excellent places ?
We have had a great day. And Manu the skipper was ???? without a doubt we will repeat
A wonderful day and evening on board! Our skipper Manuel was very careful with us!!! We didn't miss anything! Thank you for everything !!! Thank you for your help with my marriage proposal, everything went perfectly! We discovered some very beautiful places! Eat well too! I recommend you with your eyes closed!! Listening people who adapt to all requests! This day will be remembered for all To the pleasure!
We usually rent a boat every summer and it has always gone very well for us, but we did not like this one in particular, the truth is that we would not repeat it. First, parking was horrible and we started sailing an hour late, if they hadn't warned that parking was so bad in that area, we would have gone with more time. The navigation time is exact, at 6:00 p.m. you are stepping on the port. They didn't let us smoke on board the boat and they don't tell you until you get there, there were several people in the group who smoked and we would have switched to another boat if we knew. We chose to sail to Cabrera, it did not cause us any problems since the skipper wanted to take us to a beach that is next door. On the way out it went well but on the way back we came at a super slow speed and by not giving you so much air and not being able to go down to bathe you were roasting with heat. In general, there is nothing remarkable as that it was a horror but we would not take it again, they do not make you feel comfortable.
All very correct and Miguel very attentive to everything. highly recommended
Juan has been an exceptional owner, he has helped us with anything we needed and he has planned the trip with great care! The boat is incredible, and we will repeat for many more years!!!
