Designed by Umberto Felci and built by Dufour Yachts in 2007, this Dufour 44 Performance is a sailboat that combines safety, comfort and sportiness. Manufactured under the most demanding standards, its construction category is oceanic and is approved for a maximum of 12 passengers. With simple lines, its exterior design is elegant and sporty, with a wide and unobstructed bow, perfect for relaxing and sunbathing. Its bathtub is spacious, equipped with a table, speakers and a canopy, perfect to enjoy on summer days. Its interior is one of its strengths, very spacious and bright, with Nautalinets in all Nautalins and large stowage capacity. Versatile thanks to its 4 Nautalins and 2 bathrooms, it comfortably accommodates 8 people, while the convertible saloon table can accommodate 2 more passengers. The Nautalins have 2x1.50m beds and the height inside does not drop below 1.90m, being an interesting option even for the tallest. In its more technical aspect, the Dufour 44 Performance is a very competitive regatta cruiser, fast in all directions and wind conditions. Its track record is enviable, winning the Copa del Rey twice, accelerating at the slightest breath of air and its large wheel offers precision and excellent sensitivity, making even the most demanding enjoy. For all the aforementioned, this Dufour 44 Performance becomes the perfect sailboat for departures from 1 day, until your holidays of more than a week. The equipment is the most complete with all the utensils you can imagine, a very complete kitchen, fishing equipment (coast, height, squid), snorkeling equipment, paddle surfing, etc. to make these your unforgettable vacations. About the captain and owner Born in Barcelona 36 years ago, Didac is a yacht captain and professional skipper as well as being a technical mechanical industrial engineer from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. It has 4 professional SCTW specialty certificates: basic safety training, GMDSS restricted operator, rescue boat training and initial specific health training. He has been a skipper since 2009, has participated in numerous coastal and high altitude regattas and is a perfect connoisseur of the Catalan coast and the Balearic Islands. Didac speaks Spanish, Catalan, English and French and combines his passion for the sea with traveling, having been to more than 40 countries and 4 continents. Sailing with Didac was a great experience, he knows the area and really wants to make sure everyone on board has a great experience, whether one wants to learn more about sailing or about the area or whether one just wants to chill in peace. Boat rental fares in Barcellona can be high and with that in mind the price was quite reasonable. I would totally recommend Didac for any sailing trip and his well maintained Dufour.
I was celebrating my birthday on the boat with Didac as our skipper, and I can say I had the best time. The most trustworthy and best experience I’ve ever got. Didac will make you the best offer and really does everything to make sure you are comfortable and enjoying your experience. From now on, I know who I will contact when ever I need a boat and a skipper with it. The only skipper you can trust in Spain.
We had an amazing time with our group of girls on the boat. Didac was very welcoming, forthcoming, thoughtful and uncomplicated. We highly recommend this experience and will come back for sure!

Due to a family emergency, the plans changed last minute but we were taken out on a great boat by a great captain. We got to see dolphins swimming under the bow, and some of the America's cup racers; It was a great charter.
What an incredible experience! We were so nervous about the weather and didn't know what to do but Didac was flexible and incredibly helpful. The boat was awesome, the swimming was great. We would do this again in a heartbeat!

Didac was a great Captain. From booking to dropping us off after the trip communication was complete and seamless. We sailed around the north eastern part of Menorca. We stopped 3 different times to swim and snorkel. If you want a relaxing day on the water, go with Didac, you’re in good hands with him.
