The possibility of raising the keel (draft: 1.50 m) allows anchoring in shallow areas. Thus, numerous anchorage areas, often inaccessible to many sailboats, are open to you. Levitha is a very good sail walker, which allows you to plan fast crossings. The hull was repainted in 2022. The battened mainsail (65 m2) is new (2022) as well as the standing and running rigging (2023). It is equipped with three reefs, lazy-jacks and lazy-bags. The front sails, Genoese (73 m2), Solent (51 m2), Staysail (24 m2) or Tourmentin are on furler, making sail changes easier. These headsails are to be used completely unfurled, NEVER PARTIALLY. If the weather conditions get tough, furl the genoa and use the solent. Likewise, furl the solent and use the staysail or storm jib. By reducing the sail, Levitha will be as efficient and much more comfortable at sea. The carbon mast and boom as well as the rod standing rigging help to lower Levitha's center of gravity and therefore improve its stability. Likewise, the two anchor lockers located at the foot of the mast as well as the engine and the centered water/go tanks also contribute to the stability of the boat. The panoramic view of the interior is very pleasant for everyone. The hard cap protects the front of the cockpit, it advantageously replaces a soft top. The little ones can find a safe place for a nap there, and in bad weather, it protects the watch crew from the sea spray. The generator and the two “Watt and sea” brand hydrogenerators provide total energy autonomy. The watermaker makes it possible to envisage long transits without fear of running out of fresh water.
