Hello everyone, A beautiful, tastefully renovated barge for 8 people. This memorable accommodation is anything but ordinary! Come relax on our boat. We offer overnight stays on the Canal du Midi between the reaches (it's up to you), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It's also possible to go cruising. The boat has 4 beds to accommodate up to 8 people, with the comfort of a modern kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a toilet. Its 12m² terrace will allow you to eat, chat, and enjoy the midday sun. We can position the boat according to your requests (Carcassonne, Castelnaudary)! The barge consumes 3 liters of fuel. Fuel is not included; it must be paid in addition at the end of the cruise. It is possible to rent additional bicycles, but no more than 4. From November 1st to April 1st, the boat will be moored at the port of Castelnaudary. We require a minimum stay of two nights. Lovely boat and a very nice owner, Lionel, who went out of his way to help us in every way. I would highly recommend this boat and Lionel and his lovely wife.
We spent three nights on Lionel and Aurélie's barge last week, and it was absolutely fantastic! There were five of us adults. The owners are very friendly and always available to help us if needed. The barge is recently renovated, very comfortable, and well-equipped. We were also able to rent bikes, which were available on the barge, which made it easy to explore the surrounding area. There was a slight misunderstanding upon arrival: the barge wasn't in Carcassonne as indicated on the website, but in Castelnaudary. No problem, we managed to organize ourselves without too much hassle. Upon arrival, a short training session was provided to learn how to maneuver the barge and navigate the locks (there are many!) In short, we loved our stay and recommend this barge (as well as the owners, as they own several!) for unforgettable moments on the water ;-) We're all already feeling nostalgic. Maybe see you soon!

The boat is old but recently and well renovated. All the necessary equipment is present and the owners are very responsive. The port of Carcassonne is very pleasant: lively during the day and calm at night. We sailed 2 days beyond Trèbes and spent two beautiful nights in nature, alone by the canal.
We had an excellent stay with friends on this barge. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the owners, whose kindness and availability greatly contributed to making our experience memorable. Their welcome was exceptional, making us immediately feel at home. They took the time to explain the details of the barge to us and this gave us confidence. The houseboat itself was comfortable, well equipped and had everything needed for a pleasant stay. Sailing the canal, surrounded by picturesque landscapes and charming villages, was a real escape. We appreciated the owners' advice for local stops and restaurants. In summary, a perfect stay thanks to attentive and caring hosts. We highly recommend this experience.
