We had the best day on Alberto’s boat, it’s a little older than some but meticulously maintained. Alberto’s communication from the outset was quick and he was incredibly helpful. He organised our transfer from the hotel to the marina at Porto Pozzo, arranged an igloo box for our drinks for the day and food. He couldn’t have been more helpful. I would certainly use him again. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Worth all of the great reviews for sure
Awning that does not hold, very problematic given the heat of August. Engine that gives problems when it is crazy. Having taken the weather guarantee we wanted to move the reservation since it was very windy but we were told that it was not possible. Very expensive price for the service.
Great communication, very correct and courteous person. Prices in the norm. Recommended!!
Super professional and good boat. I recommend it to anyone who wants to discover the Maddalena archipelago for a day. THANKS
Dear future guests, If I were you, I would rather spend a little more money and go to another boat rental company that will provide you with a really modern boat. Otherwise, you will have the same problem as us, because we were cheated and, in our opinion, this was done deliberately. The following happened: The rental company provided us with a boat, and we were told in advance to take a video of the engine to show that the engine was in perfect condition and that there would be no problems when we returned it. BUT: There was no mention of a general check-up of the entire boat, as their boats are also older. As laypeople, we believed that we would be provided with a perfect - albeit older - boat. This is also about the safety aspect. After we set off, we noticed after about 5 minutes of driving and light waves that the sun canopy was loose in both places and it kept popping out. I then put it back in the socket several times. Then I continued at a normal speed as before and when the waves got stronger the sun canopy came completely loose from its frame and fell into the water and sank. The sun canopy should actually be screwed into its frame or secured with clamps to prevent such an incident from happening in the first place. But in this case Alberto (boat rental company) knew that the part was already defective and was just hanging loosely in the frame. So it was only a matter of time before the sun deck completely popped out of the loose frame and fell out. That's what happened to us now. At the beginning a deposit of 500 euros was paid. After the incident happened right at the beginning on the water, I contacted the boat rental company via WhatsApp to describe what had happened. He then told me that he didn't have any other sun deck and that we should finish the boat trip, which was scheduled for 9 hours, in the blazing sun. However, since it is unbearable on the boat without a sun deck and you should not underestimate the risk of sunstroke, we arrived at 4 p.m., even though we were not supposed to return the boat until 6 p.m. Alberto was not there at the time and instructed his employee to collect 250 euros from us for the sun deck for something that was not our fault. I tried several times to put it in the socket so that it would not get lost. The question that arises here is: Should I take care of the sun deck while we are sailing? No, that is not my job. I have seen with my own eyes that the sun deck on several boats from other rental companies is securely bolted in place so that something like this cannot happen in the first place. Another reference: the sun deck was closed during the sailing, so this should never have happened. In my opinion, Alberto is a rip-off artist who knew about the problem and was just waiting for it to happen to someone else so that he could buy a new, sturdy sun deck with the deposit he kept. Therefore, dear new future guests: It is better to spend more money at the beginning and pay 300-350 euros instead of 250 and have a nice day without headaches and without people who you cannot talk to and who do not recognize their mistakes.
