We could not speak more highly about this experience! Fabrizio and Wendy were the perfect skipper and host. The boat was exactly as pictured and kept very clean. Fabrizio had amazing toys on board that we were able to use like a drone, paddle board and water toys. We provided him with an ideal route and he made sure to accommodate and show us the best of the best. If you were ever worried about being on a sailboat, Fabrizio is the right skipper with many years of experience - he made sure to explain everything that was happening and taught us a lot along the way. We hope to sail with Fabrizio again soon!
Fabrizio is the ultimate and perfect skipper. He is super professional, friendly, communicating and just a great human being! The week on his boat Amorgos was just beautiful. He toured with us through the islands of La Maddalena, the north of Sardinia and the south of Corsica, and brought us to unbelievable beautiful locations and spots. The yacht is in a perfect condition and really remarkable. All the additional toys he provides are just super fun and the special improvements of the yacht are for sailing the perfect fit. Fabrizio was not just an awesome skipper, but is also a great chef and had a lot of further recommendations for us. We will do another tour with him in the future for sure and we can just recommend him as a skipper and his beautiful boat on the highest level possible. Thank you so much Fabrizio. It was a pleasure.
Fabrizio is a fantastic captain I was very lucky to find. He was supportive, answered my questions and showed me the basics of sailing when I was asking about them. We had an unforgettable trip from Palermo to Olbia over a couple days and I would not hesitate a second if I would have a chance to sail with Fabrizio again in the future. I would like to thank him for everything and wish him a lot of wonderful days on Amorgos in the future. Top experience!
Fabrizio is a skilled, thoughtful and professional skipper with deep knowledge about sailing along Sardinia and Corsica. Humble when the situation allows for it, firm when the situation demands it. I have sailed all my life, both competitive and vacationing, so I normally do not relax when sailing with a skipper I do not know. But Fabrizio managed everything perfectly, and I am very happy that he was our skipper. When we arrived the boat, we had no plans other than “We want to visit beautiful places, preferably either remote bays or cultural towns.”, and Fabrizio made the perfect route for our 5 day trip based on this. His Solaris 44 is an absolute dream in all aspects; beauty, comfort and performance. We felt safe and taken care of, and Fabrizio knows how to make guests feel welcome. I will hopefully sail together with Fabrizio again, and with that I will also give my highest recommendations. Thank you for an unforgettable experience, Fabrizio.
The Solaris 44 Amorous is brand new.. so little to say about the maintenance it's a new boat. Fabrizio other than being a good skipper is a good chef too. Not a boat and crew for wild party charters a boat for sailing aficionados and people who understand quality built boats. I've been a well known boat builder, licensed captain and professional in the yachting industry for over 25 years and despite being very very picky I can't really complain about this experience. So all good book with confidence !
It was our first experience on a sailing boat and Fabrizio with his amorgós made us live an unforgettable week. The boat is beautiful and sailing was spectacular. Furthermore, the boat is elegant, well-kept and very clean. Fabrizio is a person who makes you feel at ease, kind and very prepared. He made us visit places where we left our hearts. We highly recommend this experience.
We had a wonderful stay aboard Amorgos! The boat is exceptional, very efficient under sail giving great sailing sensations and also in terms of comfort and extras (paddleboard, jet ski, etc.) Fabrizio took us on an ideal itinerary between beaches, anchorages and beautiful sailing. He knew how to adapt to our needs which were to discover the beauty of the region and to navigate under sail. We highly recommend!
The app doesn't work well. It sometimes gives incorrect translations. The billing is incorrect because using a full stop instead of a comma in the amount causes problems with the payment process. In addition, the area search doesn't really work. The boat was actually in a different location. We were more than happy with the trip and the skipper. It was a great day. Everything was perfect!!!! We can definitely recommend this boat and the skipper.
I am reluctantly writing this review, only because the length of my stay was too short!! We would have liked to have stayed much longer with Fabrizio and his Solaris!! The boat was wonderful: spacious (we were a couple with two daughters aged 7 and 5), comfortable both under sail and under motor (there were awnings for all conditions), also practical for cooking, very bright and airy inside, the bathrooms were also large for the size of the boat. Fabrizio was perfect: never intrusive, an excellent cook and kitchen helper (even if he wasn't obliged) he accommodated our needs as best as possible and I assure you that it is a very rare circumstance for skippers; in short, a very polite person, patient with children and kind! He was able to best organize holiday times, travel and places to visit. The only complaint was that there was no outside table for eating, due to a delay by the supplier... But we were guaranteed that next year it will be there... And so are we!! Good wind!
