This was the best adventure trip of my life! Paul and his Hansa boat THOR were just perfect! Paul was the perfect skipper and adventure tour guide through the Norwegian fjords. The trip was a mixture of great sailing, relaxing in cute harbor towns in the fjords and everything in between. I really could not think of a better vacation. On top of that Paul is just the nicest and most social guy - he speaks 5 languages and makes friends with everyone along the journey. I can count him as a true friend now and really look forward to going back out with Paul and the boat! If your thinking about doing a private sailboat trip through the fjords, look no further.

We charter a Segelboot with Skipper from: 18. – 27.6.2023 Die Hanse 461 ein schönes Boot aber in eenem äußerst ungepflegten Zustand. Die Eigner Kabine, die uns überlassen, where die a Abstelkammer, da Bett war free, Schränke were with the Eigner Sachen invested. Luxus! We are missing. Everything was very unorganized. Be sure to use the cutlery and counter when you first use it. The boat can now be used with a strong motor vehicle, which is also the sole of the sail drive. The Skipper's war in our view was chaotic. On the other side you can see how you can do it, on the other side you can see how everything can be done. Man hatte das Gefühl, dass er selbst nicht more Erfahrung as an Opportunityskipper hat. Liegendes Gut teilweise nicht zu gebrauchen und in eenem schlampigen Zustand. We live with the boat for 9 years and enjoy our beautiful days, my friends are happy at home, so we can enjoy it. Am 3. Tag, beim letzten Anlegemanöver war is schon wieder sehr chaotic “Everything must be done selbst!” If there is any information about the Leine zuwarf fiel diese ins Wasser, kan passeren, der Gesichtsausdruck hat Bände geprochen. Daraufhin haben wir am drieten Tag die Reißleine sucked and the Boot innerhalb of 5 Minuten Verlassen. If there is still a bisschen Character, there would be at least 50% of the Charter Prices stated, but we will not be able to do so. Owner response: It's a shame that you had a negative experience and that you decided to express your own anger, frustration and powerlessness in such a negative way in a comment. Your outburst of anger and your sudden departure was not the fault of the boat and the skipper and lack of luxury, but a consequence of your own powerlessness and character of not wanting to accept anything from the skipper or learn from your mistakes. Your wife was also happy when you decided to leave after 3 days because she had indeed been bored from day 1, unfortunately due to a physical limitation in being able to move on deck and problems with her digestion. In addition, when it comes to sailing, there is hardly any knowledge or skill, to mention something like moving a fender or tying a simple knot. Although you paid for the boat and skipper, which you repeatedly noted to reinforce your ideas, that does not mean that you can simply bend everyone and all circumstances to your will. I had you carry out various assignments and had to intervene quickly on a number of occasions, including when you threatened to steer into the side and, as an incorrect reaction, tightened the jib sheet and then failed to start the engine. Later, on several occasions, non-yielding commercial vessels approaching advise them to tack more quickly, even enforcing them to prevent damage or worse. While things went well and you had some previous sailing experience, I found you very stubborn and unfortunately too dogmatic, not comfortable with changing circumstances or learning different skills. I would have preferred to see all this differently, also with a bit of humor or self-mockery and a nice collaboration. Hopefully it will work out better next time.
Thank you for the service and I would have appreciated not receiving any more intrusive messages, thank you. Good for you.

I have mostly obtained my sailing experience in The Netherlands (Wadden, Ijsselmeer) during about 30 years and since 2015 I started sailing my Hanse 46 feet yacht in Norway, organised cruises, one to the Faroer islands and several in the beautiful fjord and island area around Stavanger. Then in Summer 2019, I moved my boat to the Netherlands and started enjoying and exploring the beautiful tidal waters South-West of Rotterdam, Zeeland and Northern Belgium. Over here I still organise day, wknd and week cruising trips Tailored to private requests. Since Spring 2022 I also enjoyed sailing on the Mediteranean Sea starting from several harbours: Port-Vendres, Collioure, Fréjus, Cannes, Villefranche-sur-Mer, Beaulieu-sur-Mer, on several 34-44 feet yachts as a skipper and crew member.
